YOHO Artists are pleased to announce our 19th ANNUAL YOHO ARTISTS OPEN STUDIO WEEKEND at the Carpet Mills Arts District, as part of the greater Yonkers Arts Weekend. Saturday and Sunday, May 20 & 21, from 11-5pm each day
This FREE event is a unique opportunity to tour the YOHO Artists studios at the historic Alexander Smith Carpet Mills factory buildings at the Carpet Mills Arts District (CMAD). You can visit with over 50 artists, see their studios, view their new work, and enjoy the best part of your afternoon with what is guaranteed to be an unforgettable experience.
In addition to our open studio tour, the Carpet Mills Arts District will present live music and performances, art demonstrations, family friendly programming, food trucks, and much more to be announced.
YOHO Open Studio is a proud participant of Yonkers Arts Weekend (YAW). YAW is a city-wide celebration of the arts organized and generously supported by the City of Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano.
Shuttle service is available from downtown Yonkers metro north train station to YOHO from 12-5pm Saturday only. Uber type services and car service for hire are always on call if you wish to plan your visit around availability of the shuttle. Parking is limited on a first come, first serve basis. Parking is downtown style parking, where you can find a spot. Please mind the signs when possible for the safety of all.

Their diverse work runs the gamut from traditional art studio practices to other maker activities, including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, furniture and piano restoration, collage, beauty, set design, quilting, assemblage, music, woodworking, fashion, guitar making, printing, glasswork, textiles, filmmaking, jewelry, graphic design, digital multimedia, shoe design, tattooing, and creative manufacturing.
